Please read this information thoroughly and also inform the presenters in your seminar or meeting about these matters.

Check the schedule and location of your own seminar, meeting or presentation beforehand on the webpages or from the confirmation of order.

ADMISSION

Seminar organizers and speakers have free access to the trade fair with a separate presenter pass. Exhibitors do not need a separate presenter pass, the exhibitor pass is sufficient. 

The speakers must register in advance in our online ticket sale. NOTE! We will send a link to the ticket sales by email. Speakers will get free entrance by showing printed ticket or having the ticket on smartphone. Cloak room is free of charge with presenter pass. Parking is also free for speakers but it requires parking pass from the info desk.

Please send the email address of the speakers to the program producer (contact information below).

PARKING AND ARRIVING INFO

Parking is free of charge for presenters with a separate parking pass. The parking passes are available from the same desk as the presenter passes. The parking pass is shown to the supervisors of the area as you exit. The same pass is valid on all exhibition days.

Please note, that there are limited number of parking spaces in Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. We recommend public transportation!

We recommend using hotel and train station transportation or public transportation.

PROGRAM AREAS AND TECHNOLOGY

Below is information about the technology of the fair’s program stage, presentations, and the technology of the seminar and conference rooms.

We hope that you will not show your presentation via cloud services and that you will send your presentation to us in advance or bring the presentation with you on a memory stick. If your presentation involves video material and music, we request the presentation in advance by 15th of March,  in order to ensure its functionality and that the presentation runs smoothly. Tampere trade fairs Ltd is responsible for the Teosto fees for the music played on the program stages.

The program stage and facilities are in continuous use, so we hope that your performance/event will stay on the agreed schedule.

There is a technician and a program assistant on the program stages to help with technical matters. We hope that the performer will come near the performance area no later than 15 minutes before the start of their own performance.

3D STAGE, B-HALL

Stage furniture and technology

  • Sound reproduction and the necessary microphones (you can choose a headset microphone or a wand microphone)
  • A screen on stage for the performance
  • The technician is responsible for presentation and sound technology
  • If necessary, a vertical table is raised on the stage, as well as chairs for the panel discussion
  • If you want to show performance material during the show, more detailed technical info below.

3D STAGE, B-HALL

  • Sound reproduction and the necessary microphones (you can choose a headset microphone or a wand microphone)
  • 2 Plasma screens on stage for the performance
  • The technician is responsible for presentation and sound technology
  • If necessary, a vertical table is raised on the stage, as well as chairs for the panel discussion

If you want to show performance material during the show, more detailed technical info below.

  • The aspect ratio of the presentation should preferably be 16:9 (wide)
  • Please do not use a font size that is less than 20. This way we can ensure that your presentation is readable from the back row
  • All the most common formats are supported (Powerpoint, Keynote, PDF etc).
  • Full HD 16:9 video format, all the most common formats (preferably.mp4 H264).
  • If your presentation contains videos, please send them to the program producer in advance so that we can make them work for sure.
  • Tampere trade fairs Ltd is responsible for the Teosto fees for the music played on the program stage.

 

SEMINAR AND MEETING ROOMS AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Seminars and meetings at the trade fair are held either in the Seminar Centre (Seminaarikeskus) or Meeting room facilities (Kokoustilakäytävä).

Location of facilities »

Some of the seminar and meeting rooms has a laptop. In case you show your presentation from your own laptop, it should have HDMI-input/Display port. There is internet connection in each room. Inform the program producer in advance if you need special input for your computer or other assistance in technical matters (contact information in the end of this page).

It is recommended not to display presentations from cloud services because these services might not function properly during trade fairs. Take your presentation with on memory stick. When using your own Apple computer, please take adapter with. Note that recommended aspect ratio for presentation is 16:9 and font size 20.

Please stay on aggreed schedule – the facilities are on use throughout the fair days.

NOTE! High resolution videos do not transfer well wirelessly. If you need a wired connection to the projector, please note that Macs and at least Lenovo’s new laptops need an adapter, and HP’s newest laptops also need the adapter that came with the computer. If the computer does not have a normal-sized HDMI or VGA connection, an adapter is necessary.
